January 6, 7 & 8, 2006

CAS conducted a new arbitrator training in Minneapolis, Minnesota for additions to the CAS arbitrator roster. Ed Hartfield, CAS Executive Director, led a training team of Craig Olson, Debbie Lech and Susan Peters, to impart quality, first-class arbitrator training services to a group of 36 attendees made up of realtors, attorneys, retired judges, appraisers and more! It was a rigorous agenda of role-plays, ethics, professionalism, and arbitration practice, theories and arbitrator techniques that faced the attendees. A successful (and sometimes "fun") weekend was had by all.

February 28, 2006

On February 28, 2006, Construction Arbitration Services hosted the first in a planned series of Open House events. The exclusive guest list included judges, prominent attorneys, real estate and construction industry leaders. The event was the finest example of "teamwork" that could be portrayed by a company. All staff members truly characterized our company motto of Quality, Professionalism and Respect.

New Arbitrator Training (Schedule and Location pending):

A new arbitrator training will be conducted in Michigan in early fall. CAS is actively recruiting new members for our arbitration panel to handle real property disclosure disputes, construction disputes, inspection disputes and private disputes in the Michigan and Midwest areas.
